Dispersant wani wakili ne mai aiki a tsakanin fuskoki daban-daban wanda ke da halaye biyu masu karo da juna na lipophilicity da hydrophilicity a cikin kwayar halittar.

2. Rage matsin lamba tsakanin ruwa-ruwa da ruwa mai ƙarfi. Masu rarrabawa suma surfactants ne. Masu rarrabawa sune anionic, cationic, non-ionic, amphoteric da polymeric. Daga cikinsu, ana amfani da nau'in anionic mafi yawa.
